01, Project Overview

The Niutianyang Bridge is an important part of the Niutianyang Expressway Project. It is a double-tower and double-cable-plane cable-stayed bridge. The main tower of the bridge is 183 meters high. The length of the approach bridge in the water is about 1.746km (including the span lifting part), and the bridge span is arranged as 50+80 +4×70+3×72+11×70=1396m. It is divided into track beams and highway beams. A total of 3 beams are pushed simultaneously. The maximum span of the steel box beam is 72m.

This project is undertaken by China Railway Bridge Group Second Engineering Co., Ltd., and Co-construction Carter is responsible for pushing the 2~10# piers of the north approach bridge of Niutianyang Bridge, totaling 4×70+3×72+70=566m.

02,Solution

Hejian Carter provided: 54 sets of 400T walking jacks, 27 sets of one-to-two PLC control systems and other equipment; a total of 18 spans of steel box girder jacking construction on the water of the approach bridge on the north bank of Niutianyang Bridge, on January 20, the jacking has all been in place , Hejian Carter successfully completed the push task, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up main bridge to realize the closing.
